Whether Maize or Corn is Different

What is the difference between maize and corn? You may confused whether maize or corn is the exact same thing?

While, i think the reasons are due to American and International English custom. I once read form one webpage
 that make clear: it says maize is the name for any of the countless among English speakers who speak some form of the Queen's English. Corn is the name for maize among North American speakers of English.

What's more, Wikipedia explains that maize known in many English-speaking countries as corn, is a grain domesticated by indigenous peoples in Mesoamerica in prehistoric times.

Therefor, we draw conclusions that maize and corn is exact the same thing. The most difference between maize and corn is different countries has different names. Buy it as the same thing.
